Pandemic Influenza Planning Project for Tribes
Through a contractual agreement with the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), the SPIEC/Oklahoma City Area Inter-Tribal Health Board is providing technical assistance to tribes for Pandemic Influenza Planning. Each Tribe that completes the planning activities receive financial assistance that may allow them to continue preparedness activities.
To receive funds, tribes must submit:
- Completed pandemic influenza plans;
- Show evidence of having completed a survey (developed by CDC) regarding preparedness activities to date;
- Show evidence of a relationship with the Oklahoma Inter-Tribal Emergency Management Coalition (ITEMC); and
- Show evidence of a relationship with their surrounding county health and emergency management partners.
